New podcast launches April 23!

In honor of International Working Women’s Day, we are thrilled to announce that the Global Center for Gender Equality will be launching a new original podcast called Feminist by Design: A Blueprint for Philanthropy. In this series, we go beneath the surface of philanthropy to understand urgent current issues and offer pathways to giving differently. 

Feminist by Design considers what philanthropy would look like if feminists were its architects and determining the shape of things to come. 

Join us as we explore big pressing questions of our time:

• How can philanthropy support breaking cycles of global violence and what does an intersectional feminist approach offer to peacebuilding in the Middle East?

• What would humanitarian crisis response look like if it were feminist by design and how can philanthropists fund feminists to rebuild their futures in the wake of disaster? 

• How can philanthropists take action to tackle big US policy barriers in funding feminist movements holistically and effectively?

• How can philanthropists disrupt traditional philanthropy and focus on the root causes of social inequalities in order to influence real and sustainable systems change in our lifetimes?

Throughout the series, we’ll also be featuring feminist philanthropists to discuss what we consider the essential principles for feminist wealth management and giving strategies.
